Alice meets the family

As you can see, Alice is being accepted into the Apple Valley household. Alice has managed to remain in her cage like a good little snake. She does get to come out and play though. Today was Andrew's first time holding her. I told him I just wanted to take a picture of him looking at the snake. He agreed and came down the stairs. Emily was having so much fun with her that he ran to the bathroom and washed his hands and tells us he wants to hold her now. He did it. I told him he is much braver than his mommy. FYI Ryan is not pictured today because he is sick on the couch...but he really likes Alice.

Now you guys can witness Andrew enjoying Alice. Also notice how clean my house is..very impressive! Isn't Andrew's laugh so cute? I have to say it is definately cute!

Oh my, you are all so brave...Andrew I am so proud of you for holding Alice. I bet sje will be your best friend.

Emily, you look very natural holding Alice, just like your dad when he was a kid.

Sorry you are not well Ryan, but I am sure you will get a lot of time holding Alice.

Love you all so much,
Grandma Glenda

Great pictures of Alice...I can't wait to meet her and hold her, too. (I will probably not be joined by Robert when I do, though). How fun! What cool parents you are!
P.S. Nice picture of you, Cathy. Yes...I noticed!
P.P.S. Your house is very clean, too. Great job!

Cathy, snakes eat people. I don't care if it's only 2 feet tall. That huge lump in the middle of the snake? That's your first born.

Oh my gosh! That is the cutest thing ever! (I mean Andrew's reaction to the snake, not the snake itself)
