Ashley

We had to put Ashley to sleep this morning. It was a decision that we did not want to make, but unfortunately could not avoid any longer. Her tumor was large, sore and causing her pain. We are missing her, but trying to focus on all of our wonderful memories with her. Ashley joined our family shortly after we moved into this house-really only two months after Andrew was born and is a key figure in the kiddos memories.
She followed me around this house for 7.5 years. She played fetch with tennis balls, loved the cabin, roamed the neighborhood, and always enthusiastically greeted us when we came home (even if we were only gone minutes). She loved going on walks with the family and would freak out at the mere site of her leash.
She was a patient wonderful dog who loved us unconditionally. We were lucky to have her in our home for such a long time.
We will always remember our Ashley!

Sniffle, Sniffle...Ashley was a wonderful dog, and our family grew to LOVE her. Totoro has BIG loving shoes to fill. He has the BIG part done, now the loving part can be done through puppy classes :)

We will miss Ashley too. I loved dog-sitting her when you traveled, and I felt she loved me too. She was a wonderful, one-of-a-kind dog.
I believe dogs like Ashley have a place in heaven.
